How do I clear my data or delete my account?

You can unlink a bank, clear all your data, or delete your whole account from Settings → Privacy & Data. Closing your account removes everything for good.

    Sign in at app.abda.ai.

    Go to Settings → Privacy & Data.

    Scroll to the Danger Zone and click Delete my account.

  4. 4

    Confirm by typing your email.

  5. 5

    Your data is removed. You will get a confirmation email. This cannot be undone.

Delete your whole account

Unlink one bank

To stop syncing from a single bank (but keep your account):

  1. Go to Finance → Accounts
  2. Find the bank you want to remove and click Disconnect
  3. Confirm

abda stops pulling new transactions from that bank. Past transactions stay so your history is preserved.

Clear all your data (but keep your account)

To wipe everything and start fresh:

  1. Go to Settings → Privacy & Data
  2. Click Clear my data
  3. Confirm

Your transactions, budgets, and goals are wiped. Your login still works.

Before you delete

We recommend exporting your data first, in case you want a copy of your transaction history. See How do I export my data?.

Can I get my account back after I delete it?

No. Deletion is permanent. If you change your mind later, you can sign up again — but the old data is gone.

How long until my data is really gone?

Your data is removed from our active systems right away. Encrypted backups are cycled out within 30 days.

I deleted by mistake. Help!

Email support@abda.ai as soon as possible. If the deletion hasn't been fully processed, we can sometimes stop it.
