How to change, pause, or cancel your subscription
For now, email support@abda.ai with what you want to change. A real person replies — usually within one business day. A self-serve billing page is coming soon.
We're a small team and we haven't shipped a self-serve billing area yet. In the meantime, we handle subscription changes over email so nothing gets lost.
What to include in your email
Send your email to support@abda.ai with:
- The email address on your abda account
- What you want to do: change plans, update your card, pause, or cancel
- Any deadline (e.g. "before my next renewal on the 15th")
We'll reply within one business day with the next steps.
Change plans (monthly ↔ yearly)
Ask us to switch your plan. We'll move you from monthly to yearly (or the other way) at the start of your next billing cycle. You won't be charged twice.
Update your payment method
We can't edit your card for you, but we can send you a secure Stripe link to update it yourself. Your card details never reach us — Stripe handles the whole update.
Cancel your subscription
Cancellation is always available. Email us and we'll cancel on the spot. You'll keep Pro access until the end of the cycle you already paid for, then drop to Free automatically.
Pause your subscription
abda doesn't have a formal pause feature. The cleanest option is to cancel and re-subscribe when you're ready. Your data stays intact either way.
What happens after you cancel
- Pro features stay on until the end of your current billing cycle
- After that, your account drops to the Free plan automatically
- Your data (accounts, budgets, goals, history) stays intact
- Any Pro monthly credits expire when the cycle ends
- Purchased credits stay put — you can still use them on the Free plan
How fast will you reply?
Most emails get a reply within one business day. Weekend emails may take a bit longer.
I cancelled and want to come back. What do I do?
Sign in, go to /pricing, and upgrade again. All your data is still there.
Can I get a refund for the current month?
Usually we don't prorate refunds, but if something went wrong, email support@abda.ai and we'll take a look.
What about my purchased credits?
They stay yours for a full year from purchase, on any plan. Cancelling Pro doesn't affect them.
When will self-serve billing be available?
We're building a Settings → Billing area now. Once it's live, you'll be able to change plans, cancel, and download invoices without emailing us.
